DEWALT DWE43116 Angle Grinder Review: Right for Us?
When we first picked up the DEWALT DWE43116, it felt like the kind of tool that expects to be worked—solid in the hand, purposeful in its design, and ready for long sessions of cutting, grinding, and cleanup. The 4-1/2-inch to 5-inch wheel range gives us flexibility across different jobs, from trimming stubborn rebar to smoothing welds without swapping tools mid-project. We also appreciated the trigger switch, which made the grinder feel more responsive and easier to control as we eased into tighter angles. That said, power and comfort don’t always tell the whole story. In this review, we’ll look at how it handles real shop tasks, what surprised us, and whether it truly fits our workflow.
DEKOPRO Corded Jig Saw Review: Right for Our Shop?
We brought the DEKOPRO Corded Jig Saw into our shop expecting a straightforward, budget-friendly cutter—and found a tool that’s more adjustable than its price tag suggests. The six variable speeds let us slow down for tight curves and ramp up for longer rips, while the four orbital settings noticeably change the saw’s “personality” depending on the material. We also appreciated the ±45° bevel capability for quick angled cuts without dragging out extra gear. The tool-less blade quick release kept our workflow moving, especially when switching between fine and aggressive blades. That said, a corded jigsaw is only as convenient as the outlet situation, so setup matters. In the sections ahead, we’ll break down control, cut quality, and day-to-day usability.
