In our shop, loppers have to earn their hook on the wall. The Fiskars 32” PowerGear2 Garden Bypass Loppers promise a 2" cut capacity and extra leverage through their gear-driven design, so we put them to work where it counts: stubborn branches, tight angles, and long pruning sessions that usually leave our hands complaining. The 32-inch length gives us reach without feeling unwieldy, and the bypass blade style makes cleaner cuts on live wood than the anvil types we reserve for dead limbs. Still, “2 inches” can be an optimistic number depending on the species and moisture.
