Right out of the box, the sheets feel clean and craft-ready—unfinished, smooth enough for engraving, and forgiving when we’re prototyping ornaments, layered signs, or small box panels. On our laser cutter, the basswood takes crisp lines and readable detail, especially on lighter engravings where grain can make or break a design.
