We picked up the Katerk 3.7V Mini Cordless Rotary Tool Kit with 70 accessories to see if it could earn a permanent spot in our home shop-without pretending to be a full-size powerhouse. Right away, the cordless, pen-like form factor felt made for quick touch-ups: sanding tight corners, cleaning up 3D prints, smoothing carved wood edges, and polishing small metal parts. The included accessory mix invites experimentation, letting us swap from sanding drums to polishing bits in seconds and keep momentum on small projects. Of course, a mini tool lives and dies by control and convenience, so we paid close attention to grip comfort, run time, and how steady it stays at higher speeds. Here’s how it held up in real use.
