Adrattnay Basswood Sheets Review: Right for Our Laser?
We opened the Adrattnay 24Pcs Basswood Sheets expecting the usual “craft plywood surprises,” but the first impression was pleasantly straightforward: clean, pale panels, 12 x 12 inches, and a consistent 1/8 inch (3mm) thickness that fits our laser’s sweet spot on paper. In testing, the unfinished surface took pencil marks and masking tape without fuss, which made layout and engraving prep feel smooth. The grain is subtle enough for crisp burns, yet still warm when we switch to painting or staining. We also liked having a full 24-pack on hand—handy for dialing in settings without sacrificing the “good pieces.” Still, we’re watching closely for warp and edge charring as we scale up projects.
