Wooden Circle 22″ MDF Cutout Review: Our Sander Test
In our “Wooden Circle 22” MDF Cutout Review: Our Sander Test, we put this unfinished 1/8" round to work the way most craft blanks eventually get treated: with grit, dust, and high expectations. Right out of the package, the 22-inch circle felt lightweight but steady, with clean edges that hinted at careful cutting. We ran a palm sander across the face to see how quickly it smoothed and whether the MDF would fuzz, chip, or clog our paper. The surface responded evenly, taking on a velvety finish after a few passes, while the rim needed a touch more patience to round out nicely. If your projects start with sanding, this blank plays along.
