Mini Bench Belt Sander Review: Right for Our Shop?

In our shop, small tools earn their keep by doing big jobs without hogging space. This mini bench belt sander—angled at 15 degrees and built for knife making—caught our eye as a compact answer to sharpening, shaping, and polishing. We ran it through the kind of mixed workload we actually face: cleaning up bevels on a stubborn blade, smoothing hardwood edges, and knocking down burrs on metal stock. The 7 adjustable speed settings gave us room to shift from aggressive material removal to lighter finishing passes, and the belt change process felt refreshingly straightforward.
