We put it to work on softwood edges, door tweaks, and quick flattening jobs where dragging out larger tools feels like overkill. The 6-amp motor has the confidence to keep moving without bogging down in everyday cuts, and the 3-1/4-inch width covers plenty of ground with each pass. Still, we found that careful setup and a steady grip matter if we want consistent results. For weekend builds and shop fixes, it may hit a sweet spot.
