In our shop, pruning tools live a hard life—sticky sap, tight angles, and the occasional “just one more branch.” That’s why the Fiskars Folding Saw & Pruner Set caught our eye. On the pruner side, the bypass shears feel built for clean, controlled cuts, and the low-friction coated steel blade glides through green stems without fighting back. The folding saw brings a different kind of confidence: its Power Tooth triple grind blade bites quickly, tracks straight, and folds down neatly when we’re moving between beds or tossing gear into a tote. Still, a combo set has to earn its keep. In this review, we’ll see whether these two tools truly complement each other—or simply share the same packaging.
