DCA 20V Cordless Drill Review: Right for Our Shop?

We’ve been looking for a cordless drill that can keep up with quick shop installs without feeling like overkill, and the DCA Cordless Drill Set (ADJZ2035) landed on our bench at the right time. On paper, 354 in-lbs of torque and an 18+1 clutch promise enough muscle for cabinet hardware, light framing, and stubborn screws—without constantly stripping heads. The 3/8" keyless chuck makes bit swaps feel snappy, and the 20V 2.0Ah battery strikes a practical middle ground: not the biggest pack around, but rarely in our way. We also like that the kit arrives ready to work, with a charger and a 25-piece accessory set that covers most everyday jobs.

We picked up the Waydress Christmas Wooden Bead Garland in Dark Red because our shop needed something that could move easily from tree to tabletop without looking fussy. At 26 feet, it feels less like a single accent and more like a styling tool—we can drape it around a slim tree, loop it through a wreath display, or lay it across a mantel for that rustic farmhouse rhythm. The wooden beads read warm and matte, and the deep red adds holiday color without going overly shiny. We also like that it can be cut to fit smaller vignettes, letting us create multiple coordinated looks from one strand. It’s simple, flexible, and quietly effective.

In our shop, the WEN 2305 Rotary Tool Kit with Flex Shaft arrived with the promise of being a nimble, all-purpose helper—and we put it to work right away. From quick deburring on cut metal to smoothing rough edges on 3D prints, it handled the “small but constant” tasks that pile up between bigger builds. The flex shaft, in particular, changed the feel of the tool: lighter in the hand, easier to guide, and better suited for detail work where control matters more than raw power. Still, we noticed the usual rotary-tool tradeoffs—noise, dust, and the need to match the right accessory to the right material. So, is it right for our shop? We’re close to an answer.

WINGYZ Learning Stool Review: Right for Our Home Shop?

In our search for a helper stool that wouldn’t turn the kitchen into a balancing act, the WINGYZ Toddler Tower caught our eye. The natural wood frame feels sturdy, and the anti-tip design gives us a little more confidence when tiny hands reach for the counter. We especially like the three-height adjustable platform, which makes it easier to keep up with a fast-growing toddler (18 months through 6 years is an ambitious promise, but it’s a welcome one). The sliding door access adds a playful, “secret clubhouse” touch while helping with safer step-in, step-out routines.
