BYYDDIY Probe Tool Review: Right Fit for Our Shop?
In our ongoing search for small tools that do big work, the BYYDDIY Stainless Steel Dual Head Facial Reflexology Tools (P-L) caught our eye. It arrives with a simple felt bag, but the real story is in the metal: two distinct ends designed for precision pressing, tracing, and targeted release. In our hands, it feels more like a studio instrument than a casual accessory—cool, weighted, and easy to sanitize between sessions. We can see it fitting into facial mapping routines, alongside cupping, or as a quick trigger-point helper for neck and shoulder tension. Still, we’re asking the practical question: does this probe earn its counter space, or will it become another “nice-to-have” in our kit?
AUSTOR Drum Sander Set Review: Right for Our Shop?
We’ve gone through enough sanding sleeves to know a “big kit” isn’t automatically a good kit—so we put the AUSTOR Aluminum Oxide Sanding Drum Set to work in our shop. With 120 drum sander sleeves and 12 mandrels, it promises less downtime and more flexibility for our Dremel rotary tool, especially when we’re shaping small parts, smoothing edges, or cleaning up tight curves. The aluminum oxide grit feels like a sensible all‑rounder: not too precious for rough prep, but capable of leaving a surprisingly tidy finish when we step down in grit. We also appreciate the included storage box, which keeps the chaos contained. Still, we wanted to see how the sleeves hold up under real pressure.
DEWALT DCW220B Belt Sander Review: Right for Our Shop?
When we pulled the DEWALT 20V MAX* DCW220B belt sander out of the box, the first thing we noticed was what wasn’t there: a cord. In our shop, that instantly changes how we move—from edging a tabletop to smoothing a door in place without hunting for an outlet. The brushless motor promises steady power, but we wanted to see if it actually keeps up when the grit bites into real hardwood, not just scrap. This is the “tool only” version, so we paired it with our existing batteries and treated it like any other daily driver. The question isn’t whether it sands—it’s whether it earns its spot on our bench.
