SKIL 7510-01 Belt Sander Review: Right for Our Shop?
We’ve been looking for a belt sander that can live on the bench day after day without turning every project into a dust-choked wrestling match. The SKIL 7510-01 steps in with a 6-amp motor and a 3”x18” belt size that feels like a practical middle ground—wide enough to flatten stock quickly, yet still manageable on edges and small panels. What caught our attention most is the Pressure Control feature: it’s a simple signal, but in the rhythm of sanding it helps us ease off before we gouge or burn the surface. In this review, we’ll see how it handles long passes, tight spots, and real shop abuse—and whether it earns a permanent spot in our lineup.
