We didn’t expect the Ryobi ONE+ 18V Cordless Oscillating Multi-Tool (Tool Only) to become our go-to “problem solver,” but it keeps showing up when the job gets picky. One minute we’re trimming a door jamb that’s rubbing, the next we’re plunge-cutting into drywall to make room for a retrofit box. The tool’s compact shape feels easy to steer with two hands, and the variable-speed control lets us creep in cautiously or lean into faster cuts when we’re confident. Since it’s sold tool-only, it makes the most sense if we’re already invested in the ONE+ battery lineup. In this review, we’re asking the real question: is it truly ours-or just another tool we’ll forget in the back of the drawer?
