We brought the Dyson V11 Origin into our home shop expecting a sleek house vacuum-then aimed it at the real mess: fine sawdust, gritty concrete dust, and the occasional tumbleweed of pet hair drifting under our benches. With 185AW and three power modes, it feels less like “tidying up” and more like choosing the right gear for the job. On hard floors it glides and gathers without scattering debris, and on low-pile rugs it digs in enough to pull out what our broom always misses. The headline promise of up to 60 minutes matters here, because we don’t clean in quick bursts-we clean in rounds. The best surprise: it converts to handheld fast, making corners, shelves, and tool cases fair game.
